Blake Hull

General Manager

Blake is the general manager of The Flood Company and brings extensive experience in construction and the trades. His favorite core value is “We Do Hard Things,” which he lives by daily: “Our line of work is literally dealing with hard things, so this mentality is important for us to embrace.” Known for his ability to quickly identify and solve problems, Blake ensures that every customer receives exceptional care and that each restoration project runs smoothly.

When he’s not leading restoration efforts, Blake enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids in Syracuse. Whether it’s camping, family trips, or coaching his kids’ soccer teams, Blake values quality time with his family.

Mike Nielsen

Operations Manager

With over two decades of experience in restoration and construction, Mike Nielsen is The Flood Company’s operations manager. His approachable nature and sense of humor make him a vital part of the team, ensuring every day runs smoothly and every project meets the highest standards. Mike is passionate about the core value, “Be 100% Responsible,” saying, “We like to hold ourselves to a higher level of accountability.”

Mike lives in Clearfield with his wife and three beautiful daughters, and he’s a proud dad who spends his free time cheering on his kids at cheer, tumbling, and dance recitals.

Amy Day

Office Manager

Amy Day, The Flood Company’s office manager, has been the team’s cornerstone for over 20 years. Her focus is always on creating a positive experience for customers, ensuring that every call is met with professionalism and empathy. Her favorite core value is “Capacity to Care,” as she explains, “I feel like we are stepping in and helping people when their biggest asset is damaged.”

Amy lives in Kaysville with her husband of 22 years and loves spending time with her four children and eight grandchildren. Her warm demeanor ensures every customer has a positive experience when calling The Flood Company.

Jacob Briggs

Legal & Administrative Specialist

With a 15-year career in law, including advising restoration companies, Jacob brings a unique perspective to The Flood Company. His expertise ensures the smooth handling of legal and administrative matters, providing essential support to both the team and clients. Jacob’s favorite core value is “Proud to be a Part,” because, as he puts it, “I have lived long enough to realize it’s all about relationships.”

When he’s not at work, Jacob manages his family’s farm in Syracuse, where they grow sweet corn, pumpkins, wheat, hay, and (most importantly) raise four children. An avid audiobook fan, he’s always on the hunt for new recommendations.
